With 610 litres behind two solid doors, the Williams Emerald HE2USS stores more than the three-door Opal while taking up only 1816mm of wall. The difference is depth: Emerald cabinets are 800mm deep and built around 2/1 Gastronorm pans. It holds +1°C to +4°C in rooms up to 40°C, is tested at 1.9 kWh per 24 hours, and its front-breathing refrigeration cassette lets it be built in under a bench with no drain. Choose the self-contained HE2USS, which plugs into a 10 amp outlet, or the HE2RSS remote cabinet, 1634mm wide and supplied without a condensing unit for connection to your own refrigeration plant. Good to know before you buy:
- Refrigeration option: the self-contained HE2USS is complete and plugs in. The HE2RSS remote is the same cabinet without a condensing unit: your refrigeration mechanic sizes, supplies and installs the condensing unit, pipework and controls (solenoids are not fitted or supplied). Williams can advise on sizing. We supply the equipment only.
- Power: a standard 10 amp outlet for either version.
- Access: the self-contained unit is 1816mm wide, 800mm deep and 160 kg, delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Measure doorways and the bench run, remembering it is 100mm deeper than most undercounter fridges.
- Airflow: keep the front grille clear. The self-contained model needs no side or rear clearance.
- Options: drawer sets in place of either door, pass-through doors, cylindrical locks, extra shelves, a stainless rear and underside, or 150mm legs. Ask us for a price.

Common questions:
What refrigerant does it use?
The self-contained HE2USS runs on R134a. The HE2RSS remote cabinet is built for R448A, which your refrigeration mechanic charges when the condensing unit is connected. Williams builds pass-through Emerald fridges on R134a as well.
Can I swap a door for drawers?
Yes. Each door position can take a two-drawer set (150mm deep) or a three-drawer set (100mm deep). Pans are not included. Ask us for a price.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. The self-contained model plugs into a power point. The remote cabinet must be connected to a condensing unit by a licensed refrigeration mechanic in your area.

Warranty: Williams 24-month parts and labour warranty from the date of invoice on the self-contained HE2USS (12 months parts only on the HE2RSS once connected to a remote condensing unit), carried out by Williams authorised service agents on the Australian mainland. Warranty repairs must be logged with Williams first.
