Williams Topaz Under Counter HTU4SSHC - 4 Door Undercounter Storage Fridge 2230mm 500L

At 2230mm wide with four lockable doors and 500 litres, the Williams Topaz Under Counter HTU4SSHC is the largest cabinet in Williams' value undercounter range, sized for a long cook line where every station needs its own cold storage. It holds +1°C to +4°C, is designed for a 38°C kitchen and breathes through the front so it can be built in. One 10 amp plug and R290 natural refrigerant keep it simple to site. The same cabinet is available with glass doors in stainless (HTU4GSHC) or black (HTU4GBHC); there is no four door freezer in the Topaz range.

Key features:

  • 500 litres of chilled storage held at +1°C to +4°C
  • Front-breathing refrigeration, so benches can sit hard against both sides
  • Four self-closing solid doors with cylindrical locks and face-mounted hinges (ready for a plinth)
  • Stainless steel interior and exterior (excluding rear and underside)
  • 2 adjustable plastic-coated shelves per door, 8 in total
  • Long-life LED strip lighting and an electronic controller with digital temperature display
  • Forced air refrigeration with heated door pillars to limit condensation
  • Auto defrost using a waste heat recovery vaporiser, so no drain is needed
  • R290 natural refrigerant, 10 amp power, 38°C ambient rating

Good to know before you buy:

  • Access: at 2230mm long and 160 kg, this cabinet will not turn tight corners easily. Measure the whole route from the street to the bench, including corridor width, and plan a two-person move. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises.
  • Power: standard 10 amp power point, 2.0 A while running.
  • Airflow: front breathing. Keep the front grille clear; the sides and back can be enclosed.
  • No drain: defrost water is evaporated automatically, so no plumbing is needed.

Common questions:

Is 500 litres enough for four doors?
Each door opens onto roughly 125 litres on two shelves, which suits station-by-station storage. If you need more volume per door, the Australian-made Opal HO4USSHC holds 670 litres.

Does the whole cabinet run on one plug?
Yes. A single refrigeration system cools all four sections, drawing 2.0 A from a standard 10 amp outlet.

Do the doors lock?
Yes. All four solid doors have cylindrical locks as standard.
