Unis Heated Food Displays & Pie Warmers

About Unis

Unis makes heated food display cabinets in the Czech Republic. Most of the range controls humidity as well as temperature, which keeps hot food fresh on display for longer and cuts waste. The cabinets have multi-tier shelving, LED lighting and slim frames so the food stays in view. They are built from stainless steel and heavy-duty glass, and the shelves and glass remove for cleaning. Meris Food Equipment is the Australian distributor.

Unis FAQs

What temperature do Unis displays hold?

Every Unis display in our range is adjustable from +30 to +90°C. For food safety, hot food on display should be kept at 60°C or hotter.

How do Unis displays add humidity?

The Thaya has a water tray under the heating element that humidifies the display area. The Kentucky and Loire also have humidity control. Humidity helps keep food fresh for longer, so less goes to waste.

Can a Unis display be built into a counter?

The Thaya can sit on a countertop or drop into a counter. It takes standard trays up to 40mm deep in several layouts, and its shelves are adjustable and removable.

What power do Unis displays need?

Most run on a standard 10 amp power point. The Thaya 3-tray low and the Kentucky 4-tray need a 15 amp power point, which a licensed electrician can fit.

What is the difference between the Trent and the Loire?

Both are 606mm-wide countertop pie warmers. The Trent loads from rear doors and has a mechanical thermostat and front light bars. The Loire has curved glass, front and back doors, lighting on both levels and humidity control, and suits pies, pastries, muffins and croissants.
