The Dihr LP3 SHR PLUS is the heat recovery version of the LP3 S PLUS, for large kitchens washing big trays and pans that also want less steam and lower energy use. Its 850 x 725mm rack takes items up to 645mm high, and the HR unit on top recovers about 3.5 kWh per hour while, according to Scots Ice, cutting humidity volume by roughly 20%. Cycles run 4 to 13 minutes, and the machine stands 2140mm tall with the heat recovery unit.

Good to know before you buy:

• Cold water: Scots Ice states this model requires a cold water connection, which the heat recovery system uses. The Dihr spec sheet also shows a hot water inlet, so have your licensed plumber follow the spec sheet. Dihr notes it is not for reverse-osmosis (osmotic) water.
• Power: 13.36 kW on 400V three phase. It must be connected by a licensed electrician. We supply the equipment only.
• Height: 2140mm tall with the HR unit, so check your ceiling height and overhead fittings.
• Access: 990mm wide and 240 kg, delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Check doorways and plan how you will move it inside.

Common questions:

How is it different from the LP3 S PLUS?
Same rack and footprint, plus a heat recovery unit that saves energy and reduces steam. It is taller (2140mm versus 1790mm) and its cycles run about a minute longer.

What water does it need?
A cold water connection for the heat recovery system, with hardness below 8 °F. It is not suited to reverse-osmosis water.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed electrician and a licensed plumber in your area.
