Icematic C28 PLUS-A - 28kg Under Counter Self Contained Ice Machine
The Icematic C28 PLUS-A is the smallest machine in the Italian-made Cherry range, sized for cafes, small bars and restaurants that need a steady supply of clear 20g bright cubes. It makes up to 28kg of ice a day into its own 7kg bin, and at just 400mm wide it fits under most benches. This is the gravity-drain version; if your nearest drain sits higher than the machine, look at the C28DPPLUS-A with its built-in drain pump.
Key features:
- Makes up to 28kg a day of 20g bright cube ice, stored in a built-in 7kg bin
- Compact 400mm wide cabinet suits under bench installation
- My Ice app lets you control and monitor the machine by Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, plus touch controls on the unit
- Programmable ice production, so ice is ready when you need it
- Rainbow Technology to protect the evaporator from scale and aggressive agents
- Sanitisation cycle, audible and light alarms, and a HACCP alarm report
- USB connection for software updates and HACCP data download
- Removable air filter and protected front controls
- Supplied with legs, water and drain hoses, and an ice scoop

Good to know before you buy:
- Water and drain: it needs a cold water supply and a drain. As a gravity-drain model, the drain point must sit below the 215 mm outlet. Both connections must be made by a licensed plumber. A water filter is recommended by Icematic's Australian distributor. We supply the equipment only.
- Power: runs on a standard 240V, 10 amp single-phase supply.
- Airflow: keep the air filter and vents clear, and clean the filter regularly. Output drops as room and water temperatures rise, so avoid placing it next to ovens or fryers.
- Access: the packed carton is only 460mm wide and 35 kg. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises.
Compare similar models:
- Icematic C28DPPLUS-A: same 28kg machine with an integrated drain pump
- Icematic C38-A: up to 38kg a day with an 11.5kg bin, same 400mm width
- Icematic C46-A: up to 46kg a day with a 15kg bin, 500mm wide
Common questions:
What does the "-A" on the model number mean?
It means air-cooled, which is the standard version. Icematic's Australian distributor can supply water-cooled versions on request only, so ask us if you need one.
Will it make the full 28kg every day?
28kg is the maximum. Real output depends on your room and water temperature, and it drops in a hot room or with warm incoming water.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected to water and drain by a licensed plumber in your area.
