The Neumärker NEE-12-40905 is a benchtop crepe skillet for cooking galettes and crepes to order at a professional level. Its heavy 375mm round cooking plate gives constant heat, and the thermostat adjusts from 50 to 300°C, with a pilot light. Good to know before you buy:
- Power: it has a 15 amp plug, so it needs a 15 amp power point. A standard power point is 10 amp; if you don't have a 15 amp outlet, a licensed electrician can fit one. We supply the equipment only.
- Hot surface: the plate can reach 300°C. If you cook in view of customers, place it where they can't reach the plate.
- Work space: allow bench room beside the skillet for your batter, spreader and toppings.

Common questions:
Can I plug it into a normal power point?
No. It has a 15 amp plug, which won't fit a standard 10 amp outlet. Have a licensed electrician install a 15 amp power point if you don't already have one.
Is it suitable for galettes?
Yes. Neumärker designed it for both galettes and crepes, with a thermostat that goes up to 300°C.
