Williams Aztra LAZ5UCSSDR2-HC - 2 Drawer Stainless Steel Undercounter Freezer 660mm 131L
The Williams Aztra LAZ5UCSSDR2-HC is a two-drawer undercounter freezer for the cook line: 660mm wide, 131 litres, with two full-width 145mm deep drawers sized for 1/1 Gastronorm pans, holding –18°C to –22°C in rooms up to 43°C. Frozen portions, chips and par-cooked items can be pulled straight from the top drawer without opening a door into a hot kitchen. It runs on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant from a 10 amp plug and is tested at 4.1 kWh per 24 hours. Williams builds the Aztra range in the UK; the HAZ5UCSSDR2-HC is the fridge version and the LAZ5UCSS-HC has a door instead of drawers.
Key features:

- Williams HAZ5UCSSDR2-HC: the same two-drawer cabinet as a +1°C to +4°C fridge
- Williams Amber LA135SS-HC: 606mm one-door freezer, 135 litres, with a door lock

Common questions:
Is a drawer freezer a good idea under a fryer bench?
It is a common set-up, and the 43°C ambient rating is there for exactly that kind of heat. Keep the front grille clear so the unit can vent, and wipe the drawer fronts regularly.
What fits in each drawer?
Each drawer is 145mm deep and built around the 1/1 GN footprint, so it takes a 1/1 GN pan or smaller GN sizes up to that depth. Pans are not listed as included, so ask us if you need them supplied.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. This is a plug-in freezer: unpack it, let it stand, plug it into a 10 amp outlet and set the controller. No trade installation is needed.
