The Asber GEX-H500BDD is an Easy Line pass-through (hood type) dishwasher for the dish area of restaurants, cafes and clubs, taking 500 x 500mm baskets. You slide baskets in from the dirty-side bench, pull the hood down to wash, and slide them out to the clean side. It has 90 and 180 second wash cycles plus a continuous cycle, washes at 60°C and rinses at 85°C, and comes with a drain pump and detergent and rinse aid dispensers. FED supplies this Australian version for single-phase 15 A power, which makes it easier to fit than three-phase hood models.

Good to know before you buy:

• Water and drain: it needs a hot water connection and a drain, connected by a licensed plumber. We supply the equipment only.
• Power: it runs on 240V from a 15 A power point. If you don't have one, a licensed electrician can install it.
• Layout: plan inlet and outlet benches on either side so baskets slide straight through.
• Access: it arrives packed at 775 x 880 x 1650 mm and 107 kg, so check doorways and plan for a pallet jack. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside or unpacking.
• Included: 1 x CP-16/18 basket, 1 x CT-10 basket and 1 x CU-7 cutlery basket.

Common questions:

Does it need three-phase power?
No. This Australian version runs on 240V single phase at 3.6 kW from a 15 A power point.

Does it need a hot water supply?
Yes. FED states a hot water connection is required. Asber lists a supply pressure of 2 to 4 bar and an inlet temperature of up to 60°C.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed plumber, and it needs a 15 A power point.
