The Dihr HT 12 ELECTRON PLUS HR H+ is the heat recovery hood type dishwasher in the Dihr range, built for venues that want lower running costs, less steam and high hygiene standards. Its heat recovery (HR) unit captures heat from the steam to warm the incoming cold water, recovering about 6 kWh per hour, and the Hygiene+ (H+) setting adds long, high-temperature cycles. Compared with the HT 11 models it adds the heat recovery hood, a pressurised boiler with rinse pump, double tank filters and peristaltic dispensers.

• Cold water: this model requires a cold water connection, because the heat recovery unit uses the incoming water to capture heat. Connection by a licensed plumber.
• Water quality: Dihr specifies hardness below 8 °F and conductivity above 200 µS/cm, so ask your plumber whether your water needs treatment.
• Power: 10.49 kW on 400V three phase. It must be connected by a licensed electrician. We supply the equipment only.
• Height: the machine is 2095mm tall with the heat recovery unit, so check your ceiling and any overhead shelving.

Can it run on hot water?
Dihr and Scots Ice specify a cold water connection for this model, and its output figures are based on a 10°C supply, because the heat recovery system works with the incoming cold water.
