Blizzard SN-31A - Underbench Ice Maker 31kg/24hr
Small bar, cafe or office with a narrow gap under the bench? The Blizzard SN-31A is only 460mm wide and 430mm deep, yet makes up to 31kg of 22mm cube ice a day with a bin that holds about 10kg. It has an internal drain pump, so the drain doesn't have to sit directly below the machine. It is the shallowest cube-ice model in the Blizzard underbench range.
Key features:
- Up to 31kg of 22mm cube ice per 24 hours
- Bin holds about 10kg
- Compact 460mm wide, 430mm deep cabinet for under-bench spaces
- Internal drain pump
- Air-cooled
- U.S. Morrill water pump and German ebm-papst fans
- Danfoss expansion valve and dry filter, Saginomiya solenoid and hydraulic valve
- Watermark certified

Good to know before you buy:
- Water and drain: it needs a cold water supply and a drain. The internal pump moves the waste water, which gives you more choice of drain point. A licensed plumber must make both connections, and FED recommends a water filter (ask us about the WFI37000 filter kit). We supply the equipment only.
- Power: runs on a standard 10 A power point (300W).
- Airflow: it is air-cooled, so keep the vents clear and leave some space around the cabinet.
- Maintenance: FED advises that ice machines must be maintained. Change the water filter cartridge every 6 months and descale the unit. If the ice machine is not maintained, the warranty may be void.
Compare similar models:
- Blizzard SN-25C: bullet ice, 25kg a day, only 375mm wide
- Blizzard SN-80P: 36kg a day with a larger 15kg bin, 500mm wide
- Blizzard SN-120P: 55kg a day, 500mm wide and 590mm deep
- Blizzard SN-81B: 80kg a day with a 30kg bin for busier venues
Common questions:
Will 31kg a day be enough?
It suits small bars, cafes and offices. If you fill a lot of glasses or ice down drinks displays, step up to the SN-120P (55kg) or SN-81B (80kg).
Why does the drain pump matter?
The pump lifts the waste water out of the machine, so the drain point doesn't need to be directly below it. That helps when you are fitting it under an existing bench.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected to water and drain by a licensed plumber in your area.
