Bromic SB243 - Ice Machine Storage Bin, 243kg, 770mm
The Bromic SB243 holds up to 243 kg of ice under a Bromic modular ice machine head, giving busy venues a bigger buffer of ice for peak times. It is almost the same footprint as the SB178 at 770mm wide and 873mm deep, but it stands 1268mm high, which is where the extra 65 kg of storage comes from. Like the SB178 it suits all seven Bromic modular heads: the IM0320HDM and IM0485HDM sit on it directly, and the others fit with an adaptor. It stores ice only; the head on top makes it.

Good to know before you buy:
- Height: the bin alone is 1268mm high before its feet. With the IM0320HDM on top it is about 1843mm, and with the IM0485HDM about 2068mm, so check your ceiling height.
- Needs a head: this bin does not make ice. It needs a compatible Bromic modular head on top.
- Adaptors: these are not listed separately. Buying a head as well? Choose the SB243 option on the head's product page and the adaptor Bromic specifies is included where needed. If you already own a head that needs one, ask us.
- Water / drain: the head on top needs a water supply and drain, connected by a licensed plumber. We supply the equipment only.
- Access: packed, it is 820 x 923 x 1318 mm and 73 kg, delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises.

Which heads can I put on it?
All seven Bromic modular heads. The IM0320HDM and IM0485HDM fit directly. The IM0160HDM and IM0250HDM need the CBT30EMCD adaptor, and the three flake heads need the CBT30EFSD adaptor.
Is 243 kg the daily ice output?
No. 243 kg is how much ice the bin holds at one time. The head you choose sets how much ice is made per 24 hours.
Is it too tall for my space?
Check the combined height. Head plus bin is about 1843mm with the IM0320HDM. If that is too tall, the SB178 holds 178 kg and is 225mm lower.
