The Bromic IM0400FM-NR is the highest-output flake ice head in Bromic's range, rated at 410 kg per 24 hours for operations that use flake ice all day to chill and display produce and other perishables. It is a modular head: it makes the ice and drops it into a separate storage bin, so it needs a compatible bin to work. It shares its 538 x 663 mm footprint and bin choices with the 300 kg IM0300FM-NR but stands 790mm high, and it still runs from a 10 amp plug on R290 natural refrigerant.

Good to know before you buy:
- Storage bin: the head can't store ice by itself. "Ice machine head only" suits buyers who already own a compatible bin. Every bin option comes with the adaptor Bromic specifies for this head. The bin's capacity is how much ice it holds at once, not how much the head makes: even the SB406 holds less than the 410 kg this head is rated to make in 24 hours.
- Height: head plus bin is about 1835mm on the SB129, 1833mm on the SB178 and 2058mm on the SB243 or SB406, before the bin's feet and the adaptor. Check your ceiling height and doorways carefully.
- Water / drain: it needs a cold water supply and a drain, both connected by a licensed plumber. We supply the equipment only. Bromic also offers a water filtration kit; ask us.

Which bin gives me the most ice on hand?
The SB406 holds 406 kg and is 1235mm wide. If you are short on floor space, the SB243 holds 243 kg in a 770mm width.
