For venues that go through flake ice in volume, such as large produce or deli displays, the Bromic IM0300FM-NR is a modular head rated at 300 kg of flake ice per 24 hours. The head makes the ice and drops it into a separate storage bin below, so it needs a compatible bin to work. Unlike the smaller IM0200FM-NR, it needs an adaptor for every Bromic bin, and it can also go on the large 406 kg SB406. It runs from a 10 amp plug on R290 natural refrigerant and is rated for rooms up to 43°C.

Good to know before you buy:

• Storage bin: the head has no storage of its own. Choose "Ice machine head only" only if you already have a compatible bin. Each bin option includes the adaptor Bromic specifies for this head. Bin capacity is how much ice the bin holds at one time; it is a different figure from the 300 kg the head can make in 24 hours.
• Height: head plus bin is about 1695mm on the SB129, 1693mm on the SB178 and 1918mm on the SB243 or SB406, not counting the bin's feet or the adaptor. Check ceiling height and doorways.
• Water / drain: a licensed plumber must connect it to a cold water supply and a drain. We supply the equipment only. Bromic also offers a water filtration kit; ask us.

Why does every bin option include an adaptor?
Bromic's compatibility chart lists an adaptor for this head on each of its bins: CBT22EFCD for the SB129, CBT30EFSD for the SB178 and SB243, and CBT48FMCD for the SB406. Choosing a bin option on this page includes the right one.

What plug does it need?
A standard 10 amp outlet. Bromic lists a 4.5 A running current. It also needs water and a drain.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. The water and drain connections must be made by a licensed plumber.
