The Bromic IM0200FM-NR is a modular flake ice machine head rated at 200 kg of ice per 24 hours. Flake ice is soft and shapeless, so it chills and displays delicate produce and other perishables quickly without damaging them. As a modular head, it makes the ice and drops it into a separate storage bin underneath, so it needs a compatible bin to work. It is the smallest of Bromic's three flake heads and the only one that sits straight on the SB129 bin without an adaptor.

Good to know before you buy:
- Storage bin: the head can't hold ice on its own. Pick "Ice machine head only" only if you already have a compatible bin. Otherwise choose a bin option: the SB129 fits directly, and the SB178 and SB243 options include the CBT30EFSD adaptor Bromic specifies. A bin's capacity is how much ice it stores at one time, which is different from the 200 kg the head can make in 24 hours.
- Height: head plus bin comes to about 1576mm on the SB129, 1574mm on the SB178 and 1799mm on the SB243, not counting the bin's feet or the adaptor. Check your ceiling height and doorways.
- Water / drain: it needs a cold water supply and a drain, connected by a licensed plumber. We supply the equipment only. Bromic also offers a water filtration kit; ask us.
- Power: the head plugs into a standard 10 amp outlet.

Common questions:
Does it come with a storage bin?
Only if you choose a bin option. The head on its own makes ice but has nowhere to store it, so you need a compatible bin, either one you already own or one of the Bromic bins offered on this page.
Which bin should I choose?
It depends on how much ice you want on hand. The SB129 is the narrowest at 560mm and needs no adaptor. The SB178 and SB243 store more ice and come with the CBT30EFSD adaptor in those options.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. A licensed plumber must connect the water supply and drain. The head then plugs into a 10 amp outlet.
