The Dihr HYDROPOWER is two machines in one: a high-pressure washer for burnt-on GN trays and pans, and a hood type dishwasher for plates. Its high-pressure jets clean trays in 3 to 10 minutes without granules or soaking, and four plate cycles of 70 to 180 seconds wash dishes like a standard hood type. The rotating 600mm basket holds 2 trays of 800 x 600mm or 4 GN 1/1 trays, and the hood opens to give 550mm of useful height. It suits canteens, caterers and busy restaurants that want to cut soaking and hand washing. It is 830mm wide, a little wider than the 720mm HT 14 OPTIMA.

Good to know before you buy:

• Power: it needs a 400V three-phase supply and must be connected by a licensed electrician. We supply the equipment only.
• Water and drain: connection by a licensed plumber. Use a 55°C hot water supply for full output. Dihr specifies inlet water hardness of up to 8 °f, so ask your plumber whether your site needs a softener.
• Height: allow 2200mm of clearance for the hood to open.
• Access: it weighs 245 kg and is 830 x 940mm, so plan the route in and the people or equipment to move it. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, and bringing it inside and unpacking are not included.

Common questions:

Does it need granules?
No. Dihr says the high-pressure jets clean trays and pans in a few minutes without granules or soaking.

Can it wash plates as well as trays?
Yes. It has 4 plate cycles of 70 to 180 seconds and washes dishes like a standard hood type dishwasher.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed electrician and a licensed plumber in your area.
