Dihr LP4 S8 HR PLUS - Front Loading Pot and Utensil Washer 1350 x 725 Rack with Heat Recovery
The Dihr LP4 S8 HR PLUS is the biggest machine in the Dihr LP range, pairing a 1350 x 725mm front loading pot washer with a heat recovery system. It suits hotels, hospitals and central kitchens washing large trays, racks and pots, where steam and energy costs matter. The HR unit recovers about 5.5 kWh per hour and, according to Scots Ice, cuts humidity volume by roughly 20%; otherwise it matches the LP4 S8 PLUS, with slightly longer cycles and a taller body.
Key features:
- Heat recovery (HR) system, recovering about 5.5 kWh per hour (Dihr figure, based on the shortest cycle)
- Reduces humidity volume by approximately 20% (Scots Ice)
- Extra-large 1350 x 725mm rack with up to 820mm of tray height
- 4 wash cycles of 4.5, 7.5, 10.5 and 13.5 minutes
- 8.6 litres of water per cycle, rinsing at 85°C
- Two 2900 W wash pumps plus a rinse pump
- 5 inch TFT touch display
- Double-skin construction, deep-formed tank and double tank filter with dirt collection

Good to know before you buy:
- Height: at about 2.3 m tall with the HR unit, check your ceiling height and any overhead pipes, ducts or shelving before ordering.
- Cold water: Scots Ice states this model requires a cold water connection, which the heat recovery system uses. The Dihr spec sheet also shows a hot water inlet, so have your licensed plumber follow the spec sheet. Dihr notes it is not for reverse-osmosis (osmotic) water.
- Power: 14.8 kW on 400V three phase. It must be connected by a licensed electrician. We supply the equipment only.
- Access: a very large, heavy machine (1490mm wide), delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Moving it inside needs suitable equipment and wide access, so check doorways and corridors first.

Common questions:
What does the heat recovery system do?
The HR system saves energy and reduces the steam released into the kitchen, which makes it more comfortable to work in and helps where ventilation is limited.
How tall is it?
Scots Ice lists it at 2320mm high with the heat recovery unit. Allow extra room above for access.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed electrician and a licensed plumber in your area.
