The Dihr OPTIMA 500 is a full-size undercounter washer for restaurants and cafes that wash plates, glasses and cutlery in the one machine. It takes 500 x 500mm racks with 340mm of height, and its TFT control panel offers up to 8 wash cycles, from a 60 second quick wash to a 6 minute heavy cycle. It is the step up from the single-cycle GS 50 ECO, adding a pressurised boiler with rinse pump, peristaltic dispensers, self-diagnostics and a self-cleaning cycle.

Good to know before you buy:

• Bench height: it stands 850mm high, so check it fits under your bench.
• Power: single phase 240V at around 3.6–3.7 kW, which is more than a standard 10 A power point supplies. Have a licensed electrician provide a suitable circuit. We supply the equipment only.
• Water and drain: it needs a water connection and a drain, connected by a licensed plumber. Dihr specifies water hardness of 2–8 °F (French degrees), so ask your plumber whether your site needs a softener.
• Access: delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises. Bringing it inside and unpacking are not included.

Common questions:

Is it a glasswasher or a dishwasher?
Both. It washes glasses, dishes and cutlery, and has a dedicated glass cycle as well as plate and heavy cycles.

Does it have a drain pump?
Yes. A drain pump and non-return valve are built in, which helps when your drain point is above floor level.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed plumber and a licensed electrician in your area.
