Two self-closing doors, 500 litres of chilled storage and a blown-air well for 18 x 1/6 GN pans make the Williams Jade Sandwich HJ2SCBA a good fit for cafes, sandwich shops and canteens that run a long lunch rush. The well keeps every pan at +1°C to +4°C with refrigerated air over and under the pans, and the cabinet below holds backup stock on a plastic-coated shelf behind each door. It is the mid-size, 1815mm model in the Australian-made Jade Sandwich range, sitting between the single door HJ1SCBA and the three door HJ3SCBA, and it runs from a 10 amp plug. Good to know before you buy:
- Canopy: With canopy includes the square glass sneeze guard over the pans. Without canopy (HJ2SCBA-000-N) is the same counter and well with no glass guard.
- Access: at 1815mm long, 771mm deep and 210 kg, this is a two-person move. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, so measure doorways and any tight turns first.
- Power: plugs into a standard 10 amp power point with a 2 m cable. No electrician is needed.
- Airflow: keep the front grille clear and wash the filter regularly. If the counter is built into joinery, allow a duct opening for the condenser exhaust as shown on the Williams data sheet.
- Drain: none needed. Defrost water is evaporated by the vaporiser.
