The Williams Opal LO3USSHC is the largest self-contained freezer in the Opal range: three solid doors, 510 litres of 1/1 GN-compatible storage and a 1910mm stainless steel bench on top. It holds –18°C to –22°C in rooms up to 40°C, runs on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, and its front-breathing cassette means it can be built in with no drain or side clearance. If you want a four-door Opal freezer, it is only made as a remote cabinet, so this is the biggest plug-in option. The LO3RSS is the remote version of this cabinet, 1728mm wide and supplied without a condensing unit. Designed and built by Williams in Australia.

Good to know before you buy:
- Refrigeration option: the LO3USSHC arrives complete and plugs in. The LO3RSS is supplied without a condensing unit, so your refrigeration mechanic supplies, sizes and installs the condensing unit, pipework and controls (solenoids are not fitted or supplied). Williams can advise on sizing. We supply the equipment only.
- Power: a standard 10 amp outlet for either version.
- Access: the self-contained freezer is 1910mm long, 700mm deep and 160 kg. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, so measure doorways, corridors and corners before ordering.
- Airflow: keep the front grille clear. No side or rear gap is needed on the self-contained model.
- Drawers: Williams does not offer drawer sets on the three-door freezer, so if you need freezer drawers look at the one or two-door Opal freezers instead.

Is there a four-door self-contained Opal freezer?
No. Williams makes the four-door Opal freezer as a remote cabinet only (the LO4RSS), so the LO3USSHC is the largest Opal freezer you can simply plug in.
What condensing unit does the remote version need?
Williams lists the LO3RSS at 600 W at –30°C saturated suction temperature on R448A. Your refrigeration mechanic selects and installs the unit, and Williams can advise on sizing.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. The self-contained LO3USSHC plugs into a power point. The LO3RSS remote cabinet must be connected to a condensing unit by a licensed refrigeration mechanic in your area.
