Baron Q90PF/EI150S - Queen 9 Electric Boiling Pan 150L Indirect Heat
For sauces, custards, soups and other dishes that can catch on a hot pan base, the Baron Q90PF/EI150S heats its 150 litre pan indirectly. Two sets of armoured heating elements sit inside a sealed cavity around the pan, rather than directly under it, and an automatic condensate drain valve looks after the cavity for you. At 21 kW it has more power than the direct-heat ED150, and it suits central production kitchens, catering, aged care and institutional kitchens.
Key features:
- 150 litre AISI 304 stainless steel pan with an AISI 316 bottom
- Indirect heating: 2 sets of armoured elements inside the cavity around the pan
- Automatic cavity condensate drain valve (the "S" in the model code) that keeps cavity pressure right and drains condensate on its own
- Indicator light for low water in the cavity, with a safety thermostat that cuts the heat until the level is restored
- Fills through two solenoid valves, with the choice of cold or hot water
- Front drain through a 2 inch chrome-plated brass tap
- Work surface height adjustable from 840 to 900 mm on stainless steel feet
- IPX5 water-jet rated knobs, safe to wash down at the end of the day

Good to know before you buy:
- Power: 21 kW on three-phase power is a big load, so ask your electrician to check your switchboard capacity. It must be connected by a licensed electrician. We supply the equipment only.
- Water: it fills from the mains through solenoid valves and drains from the front tap. Water connection must be done by a licensed plumber.
- Access: the packed unit is 1240mm high and weighs 175.5 kg. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, and standard delivery doesn't include bringing it inside, up stairs or unpacking, so check doorways and corridors.

Common questions:
What does the "S" at the end of the model mean?
It marks the version with an automatic cavity condensate drain valve. The valve keeps the pressure inside the heating cavity right and drains condensate water automatically.
Can I fill it with hot water to save time?
Yes. It fills through two solenoid valves and can load either cold or hot water, if your plumber connects both.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed electrician, and the water by a licensed plumber, in your area.
