The Norris Madison Bantam is a compact underbench dishwasher made for businesses limited to a 10 amp power supply, such as small cafes, bars and shopfront or home-based premises. Despite the small 10 amp draw it washes up to 500 plates an hour (around 20 loads), using just 2.7 litres of water per cycle. It is the 10 amp sister of the Madison IM5: same body and rack, but the IM5 runs on 15 amps with bigger elements and adds automatic rinse aid injection.

Good to know before you buy:

• Power: designed for a 10 A supply, so it suits premises where 15 A or three-phase power isn't available. Your electrician should confirm the circuit.
• Water and drain: it connects to hot water and pumps out to your drain, connected by a licensed plumber. We supply the equipment only.
• Rinse aid: the Bantam has automatic detergent injection but no rinse aid injection. The IM5 adds automatic rinse aid.
• Bench height: it is 810mm high (840mm on its legs), so check the space under your bench.

Common questions:

Will it run on normal 10 amp power?
Norris rates the Bantam at 240V, 10 amps and describes it as suitable for home power, so it suits sites where only standard power is available. Your electrician should confirm the outlet and circuit.

Can it wash glasses too?
Yes. It takes 500 x 500mm racks and comes with flat and plate rack inserts, so you can wash glasses, plates and cutlery.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed plumber in your area.

Warranty: 2 years parts and labour, plus 3 years on the control board and cabinet, from Norris. Norris extends this to 4 years on the whole machine when Zexa ware-washing chemicals are used consistently (proof of purchase may be required). Exclusions apply.
