Norris Madison IM20 - Upright Passthrough Dishwasher With Condenser
The Norris Madison IM20 with Condenser is the IM20 upright pass-through dishwasher fitted with a stainless steel steam condenser (heat recovery) system, for kitchens where steam and condensation are a problem. When a cycle finishes, steam would normally escape as the hood opens; the condenser captures it, reducing condensation on ceilings and pools on the floor that can cause slips. Norris says it also directs that heat back into the machine's cold water supply to help lower running costs, while washing performance stays the same as the standard IM20.
Key features:
- Steam condenser (heat recovery) system reduces steam and condensation in the kitchen
- Recovered heat is directed back to the machine's cold water supply
- Up to 1,000 plates per hour (around 40 loads, depending on incoming water)
- Quick start: the cycle starts when the smooth-lifting hood closes
- Automatic detergent and rinse aid injection
- Rinse pump, with a 1100 W wash pump
- Corner or in-line positioning
- Easy to clean, ergonomic design

Compare similar models:
- Norris Madison IM20: the same dishwasher without the condenser, 1500–1560 mm high
- Norris Madison IM20 Top Control: IM20 version with top-mounted controls
- Norris Madison IM7: smaller pass-through, up to 700 plates per hour
Common questions:
Do I still need an exhaust hood?
The condenser reduces steam and condensation, but ventilation requirements depend on your site and local rules. Check with your mechanical ventilation contractor or local council before you rely on it instead of a canopy.
Does the condenser change how it washes?
No. Washing capacity, cycles and rack size are the same as the standard IM20.
Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed electrician and a licensed plumber in your area.

Warranty: 2 years parts and labour, plus 3 years on the control board and cabinet, from Norris. Norris extends this to 4 years on the whole machine when Zexa ware-washing chemicals are used consistently (proof of purchase may be required). Exclusions apply.
