The Polaris GC101 is a walk-up blast chilling cell for central kitchens, caterers, hospitals and food producers that cook in volume. You wheel a full 1/1 GN trolley straight in, then blast chill or shock freeze up to 80 kg per cycle without unloading a single tray. It is the smallest of the GC range: one trolley, one door, and it runs from a separate remote condensing unit (GMR101), so the heat and noise of the refrigeration plant can sit away from the kitchen.

Good to know before you buy:

• What's not included: the remote condensing unit (GMR101), the access ramp (R-GCX01) and trolleys are all extras. Ask us to quote the complete package.
• Assembly and connection: the cell arrives disassembled and must be assembled on site. The refrigeration lines to the remote unit need a licensed refrigeration mechanic, and the three-phase power must be connected by a licensed electrician. We supply the equipment only.
• Hot climates: the standard GMR101 condensing unit is rated for outside temperatures up to 38°C. A tropicalised unit for up to 43°C is available on request.
• Access: at 570 kg packed it arrives by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, so plan for suitable lifting equipment and a clear path to the install area.

Common questions:

Is the condensing unit included?
No. The GC101 is the insulated cell only. The matching GMR101 remote condensing unit, the ramp and trolleys are sold separately. Ask us for a full quote.

Is there a pass-through version?
Yes. Polaris lists a pass-through version (GC101P) as an option, so you can load from the cooking side and unload on the other. Ask us for details.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be assembled and connected by a licensed refrigeration mechanic and a licensed electrician in your area.
