The Polaris KC100C is a self-contained roll-in blast chiller and shock freezer, with the refrigeration unit built into the cabinet. That means no separate condensing unit to buy or pipe up: you roll a 20 x 1/1 GN trolley straight from the oven into the cell and chill up to 90 kg or freeze up to 65 kg per cycle. It is the compact version of the pair, 1375 mm deep, while the KC100L takes 2/1 GN trolleys in a deeper 1575 mm body. It is supplied assembled.

Good to know before you buy:

• Not included: the trolley and the access ramp (KC100RAMP) are sold separately. Ask us for a price on both.
• Power: this is a three-phase machine and must be connected by a licensed electrician. We supply the equipment only.
• Height: it stands 2450 mm tall, so check your ceiling height and keep the unit's vents clear so the built-in refrigeration can breathe.
• Access: at 1050 mm wide and 2450 mm tall it is a large item. It is delivered by tailgate truck to the front of your premises, so check doorways and your route inside, and arrange lifting equipment.

Common questions:

What does the C mean in KC100C?
It is the compact version, sized for a 1/1 GN trolley. The KC100L is the larger version for 2/1 GN trolleys.

Does it need a remote condensing unit?
No. The refrigeration unit is built in (motor on board), so it only needs a three-phase power connection.

Do you install it?
We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed electrician in your area.
