Williams Blast Chiller WBCF20 - 20Kg/6 Tray Blast Chiller Freezer 707mm
With six 1/1 GN tray positions and a 20 kg per cycle rating, the Williams WBCF20 is the reach-in blast chiller freezer that suits a restaurant, club or catering kitchen cooking in moderate batches. It blast chills 20 kg of hot food in 90 minutes or blast freezes it in 240 minutes, then switches itself to storage mode so the food holds safely until you move it to a fridge or freezer. It is still a plug-in 10 amp unit, which makes it the largest Williams blast chiller that does not need a 15 amp or three-phase circuit. On the same 707 x 804mm footprint, the WBCF10 is the half-size version and the WBCF30 and WBCF40 step up to ten trays.
Key features:
- Blast chills up to 20 kg per 90-minute cycle or blast freezes 20 kg per 240-minute cycle
- Easy Blast 1-2-3 control panel: three simple steps to start a cycle
- Hard, soft, store and core-probe controlled cycles with an audible end-of-cycle alarm
- Core food temperature probe for accurate measurement and control
- Automatic switch to storage mode when the cycle finishes
- Slides for 6 x 1/1 GN pans or shelves at 75mm spacing (pans and shelves not supplied)
- Large, energy-efficient high-velocity fans and large evaporator for uniform chilling across every tray
- Self-closing door, coved internal liner and foodsafe stainless steel interior and exterior
- Designed for 40°C kitchens and HACCP compliant
- Runs from a standard 10 amp power point

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: 707mm wide, 804mm deep and 1295mm high on castors, and 140 kg, so it needs a clear path through doorways and no steps. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; wheeling it inside is not included.
- Power: standard 10 amp power point, 6.0 A while running. Give it its own outlet rather than sharing a circuit with other heavy appliances.
- Pans and shelves: six pairs of slides are fitted but pans and shelves are not supplied. Optional plastic-coated or stainless steel shelves and extra slide pairs are available. Ask us for a price.
- Legs instead of castors: optional adjustable legs are supplied loose and add 30mm to the overall height.

Common questions:
Can it hold the food after the cycle finishes?
Yes. When a blast chill or blast freeze cycle ends, the WBCF20 sounds an alarm and automatically switches to storage mode, so the food stays at a safe temperature until you transfer it.
Is this a blast chiller or a blast freezer?
Both. The CF in the model code stands for chiller/freezer. You choose a blast chill cycle (20 kg in 90 minutes) or a blast freeze cycle (20 kg in 240 minutes) from the control panel, and can run cycles by time or by core probe temperature.
Do you install it?
No installation is needed. It plugs into a standard 10 amp outlet. We supply the equipment only.
