Williams Blast Chiller WBCF50 - 50Kg/13 Tray Blast Chiller Freezer 707mm
The Williams WBCF50 is the biggest reach-in blast chiller freezer in the Williams range, taking thirteen 1/1 GN trays and rated to blast chill 50 kg of cooked food in 90 minutes or blast freeze 50 kg in 240 minutes. It is built for serious cook-chill output in hotels, hospitals, aged care, event caterers and central kitchens, while still fitting the same 707mm wide, 804mm deep footprint as the smaller models. Two things set it apart from the WBCF40: it runs on three-phase power, and it needs a tundish drain. If you have more than 50 kg to chill at a time, or want to roll a whole trolley in, look at the Williams roll-in blast chillers.
Key features:
- Blast chills up to 50 kg per 90-minute cycle or blast freezes 50 kg per 240-minute cycle
- Easy Blast 1-2-3 control panel, three steps to start a cycle
- Hard, soft, store and core-probe controlled cycles with an audible alarm when the cycle ends
- Core food temperature probe for accurate measurement and control
- Automatically switches to storage mode at the end of each cycle
- Slides for 13 x 1/1 GN pans or shelves at 75mm spacing (pans and shelves not supplied)
- Large, energy-efficient high-velocity fans and a large evaporator for uniform chilling from top tray to bottom
- Self-closing door, coved internal liner and foodsafe stainless steel inside and out
- Designed for 40°C kitchens and HACCP compliant
- Three-phase refrigeration system

Good to know before you buy:
- Access: at 1915mm high and 205 kg this is a tall, heavy cabinet. Check door heights, corridors and lift sizes before ordering. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises; moving it inside is not included.
- Power: three-phase supply, 5.8 A while running. It must be connected by a licensed electrician. We supply the equipment only.
- Drain: unlike the smaller reach-in models, the WBCF50 requires a tundish for drainage, so plan for a licensed plumber to provide a drain point nearby.

- Legs instead of castors: optional adjustable legs, supplied loose, add 30mm to the overall height.

Common questions:
What power and plumbing does the WBCF50 need?
It runs on three-phase power (5.8 A running) and needs a tundish drain for waste water. A licensed electrician must connect the power and a licensed plumber should provide the drain. We supply the equipment only.
How much food is 50 kg?
Williams rates it on thirteen 1/1 GN trays of uncovered dense food such as mashed potato, no more than 50mm deep. Lighter or shallower loads chill faster; deep, covered or fatty food takes longer.
Do you install it?
No. We supply the equipment only. It must be connected by a licensed electrician and plumber in your area.
