The Williams WMBC160C is a single-trolley roll-in blast chiller rated for 160 kg of cooked food per 90-minute cycle, which puts it in the territory of large hospital, defence, prison and contract catering kitchens that chill full 2/1 GN combi trolley loads several times a day. The 900mm door opening takes the trolley straight from the oven, three core probes monitor the food, and the thermal printer prints the cycle record for HACCP. It needs a 17.3 kW remote condensing unit, supplied and installed by your refrigeration mechanic, and a 16 amp three-phase supply at the control panel. It is the chill-only unit; the WMBCF160C adds blast freezing and an insulated floor.

Good to know before you buy:

• Remote refrigeration: the 17.3 kW condensing unit is not included. It is supplied and installed, with pipework and controls, by your refrigeration mechanic. Williams can recommend condensing unit sizing and electrical requirements. We supply the equipment only.
• Installation: the chamber arrives as flat-packed modular panels for erection on site by your installer. The evaporator section comes in one piece and needs safe handling. Delivery is by tailgate truck to the front of your premises.
• Power: 415 V three-phase at the control panel, 16 amp, connected by a licensed electrician.
• Floor: no insulated floor is supplied on this chill-only model, so trolleys roll in at floor level without a recess.
• Trolley: not listed in the standard supply; use your existing 1/1 or 2/1 GN combi trolley or mobile rack.

How big is the door and the chamber?
The door opening is 900mm wide and the chamber measures 1670mm wide by 1250mm deep by 2295mm high overall. It is sized for one 1/1 or 2/1 GN mobile rack or combi oven trolley. If you need two trolleys per cycle, look at the 2350mm deep WMBC240C or WMBC320C.

Can I have doors on both sides?
A pass-through second door is available as an option, so trolleys can enter from the cookline and leave on the packing side. Ask us for a price.

Do you install it?
No. We supply the equipment only. Assembly on site is by your installer, the three-phase power by a licensed electrician and the refrigeration by a licensed refrigeration mechanic in your area.

Warranty: Williams 12-month parts-only warranty from the date of invoice, as this remote unit is connected to a separately supplied condensing unit. Warranty repairs must be logged with and authorised by Williams first.
